Olivia Rodrigo apparently still feels “so American” around her boyfriend Louis Partridge – especially during their last meeting in New York.
Rodrigo and Partridge, both 21, were spotted enjoying a romantic stroll around Greenwich Village on Friday, January 17. The actor was seen walking alongside Rodrigo, wrapping an arm around his lower back.
The Grammy winner and Partridge dressed casually for the outing. Rodrigo wore a striped shirt under a black quilted coat with blue pants and a pair of sunglasses. Partridge, meanwhile, opted for a black button-down jacket and khakis.
The couple have been dating since fall 2023 after they were spotted packing on the PDA in Partridge’s hometown of London. Since then, the couple has kept their romance relatively low-key and out of the public eye.
“Dating probably shouldn’t be done in the public eye,” Partridge said. British Vogue in a March 2024 profile. “Enough happens between two people. You don’t need the voices of thousands of other people in your head. I think she’s in a much worse situation than me. I can be a bit of a normal person. She has tons and tons of eyes on her case.

Partridge has since been a fixture at Rodrigo’s concerts in the United States and across the Atlantic. Fans also speculated that Rodrigo’s song “So American” was written about Partridge.

Rodrigo chose not to name his songwriting muses — including on 2021’s “Driver’s License,” which was widely rumored to be about his ex Joshua Bassett – and Partridge did the same.
