Hardung and Herbig-Matten were catapulted to celebrity status when Maxton Hall enjoyed record success by being the most-watched non-US title in its first week on Prime Video. It was renewed for a second season a week after its debut.
At the center of the series is an unlikely romance between Ruby (Herbig-Matten) and James (Hardung). The costars previously revealed that their off-screen dynamic mirrors their characters.
