Maren Morris is living her best life while on vacation in Mexico.
The country singer, 34, donned a tiny black bikini for a girls’ trip to Tulum, Mexico, in new photos shared via her Instagram on Wednesday, January 23.
In the photos, Morris appeared to be enjoying some time off as she soaked up the Mexican sun and drank a coconut while hanging out with friends.
She captioned the photo: “Texans are heading to Mexico 🥥.” »
The photos also showed Morris enjoying his free time by playing cards, visiting a bar, drinking cocktails and reading. Rebecca Yarros Fourth wing while I was at the beach.
The vacation comes a year after the “People Still Show Up” singer finalized her divorce from the songwriter. Ryan Hurd.
Morris filed for divorce in October 2023 after five years of marriage, which was finally finalized in January 2024.
The two singers met in 2014 during a songwriting session, married four years later and welcomed their son Hayes in March 2020.
Morris opened up about co-parenting with her ex during a candid podcast interview in September 2024.
“Co-parenting is going well,” Morris said during an appearance on the “Armchair Expert” podcast. “We do our best this way, but it’s still pretty fresh.”
The same month, Morris shared details of what it was like diving back into the dating scene, including joining exclusive dating app Raya, after coming out as bisexual last year.
“(I’m) dating a little bit,” Morris said during an appearance on the “Chicks in the Office” podcast in September 2024. “I mean, I’ve never really dated anyone. For example, I had two long monogamous relationships with men, and I never really had that dating phase because I was always working (and) I ended up having long relationships with people I worked or who I was close to.

She added at the time: “Dating someone for the first time, like, in your 30s is crazy, and (joining the app) Raya is wild.” I’ve had some good experiences with it and, fortunately, nothing completely traumatic.
The country singer said she is enjoying the dating experience so far.
“Dating right now is great and it’s fun, but I feel bad saying that, it just gives me fuel to write songs,” Morris added on the podcast. “Like, ‘Sorry for using you.’ » It’s like helping me get into the POV, like an actor getting ready. I’ll method (act), like a bad date, a good date (or) anything in between, it really fuels me.
