Kylie Kelce is finding her own podcast identity with her show “Not Gonna Lie,” but she’s thrown in a few shout-outs here and there at her husband, Jason Kelce.

News broke in November 2024 that Kylie was joining Jason and his brother, Travis Kelcein the world of podcasts. “Not Gonna Lie” debuted the following month, allowing Kylie to reintroduce herself. “I have a husband who you might know, he kind of got me into this mess,” she joked during her first episode. “I swiped right and now here we are.”

While sitting with her wide range of guests – from the Olympian Alex Morgan to influence Allison Kuch — Kylie has made frequent references to Jason and “the other podcast” (aka “New Heights”). She even told listeners what made her show different from that of her husband and brother-in-law, often pointing out that “Not Gonna Lie” is about “women supporting women.”

In her initial announcement, Kylie admitted she was “just as shocked” as everyone else that she found herself behind the mic. “But if everyone wants to talk about me and my family, they might as well hear it from my mouth,” she added.

Friendly competition

“If you look at another podcast that I know the hosts of, they have also gotten better over time. So I would really appreciate some patience, please,” Kylie teased during her first episode.

Kylie then joked about a particular element of “New Heights” lore. “My producer, we’re going to call her Queen Emma,” she said. “That’s because on the other podcast they reduced the executive producer to an intern. That’s right, you heard me. Intern Brandon is actually executive producer. But you know what we do here? We lift people up.

Children who look alike

“We are so lucky that my husband makes beautiful daughters,” Kylie said in December 2024, a month after revealing that she and Jason had a fourth daughter on the way. “When you look at Wyatt’s baby photos and Jason’s baby photos side by side, it looks like we cloned him. …Believe me, I’m trying desperately to have a child who looks like me.

Watch the girls

While answering questions from fans, Kylie revealed if Jason would take care of their daughters during his recording sessions. “How can I say this nicely?” No,” she admitted, specifying that her position “is not an attack on her husband” as a parent. “He’s busier than he’s ever been. He works very hard and is really working at the moment.

Kylie explained that she prefers to “plan childcare” when she’s booked. “I just make sure I’m covered, and if that means he’s home and someone else is there, then that’s what happens,” she said.

When asking Olson for episode recommendations, Kylie specifically replied “the one where my husband (and his friend) Beau (Allen had) a cameo doesn’t count.”

The episode in question, “The Gang Wins the Big Game,” aired in 2018. Olson had nothing but good things to say about Jason from his brief time on set, to which Kylie teased in response: “Try to live with him.”

I think there will come a time when we break him down and he says not only is it okay, but he’s okay with the decision. And in a loving marriage, I like to respect his feelings.
