Recapping the festive period, Lorraine, 34, posted a series of images, including one of her snuggling up to her famous dad, 87, via Instagram on Thursday January 2.
“The season of giving 🎁,” she captioned the post.
Lorraine is Nicholson’s daughter with his ex-girlfriend, actress and model Rebecca Broussard. The former couple welcomed their daughter together in April 1990; Broussard later gave birth to a son, Raymond Nicholson, in February 1992.

A Brown University graduate and former Miss Golden Globe, Lorraine followed in her father’s footsteps and appeared in several films over the years, such as 2004’s The Princess Diaries 2: Royal Engagement, 2006 Click2011 Soul Surferand those of 2016 Computer hacker.
In 2011, Lorraine revealed to Us every week that Jack had been instrumental in her desire to become an actress.
“He’s my mentor,” she exclusively told We at the time. “I’m going into the family business because we’re so close and he’s such an inspiration. I admire him so much.
She also spoke about the importance of being modest in the industry.
“My grandmother always told my father, ‘Don’t brag,’ which in Nicholson language means, ‘Be modest and let your work speak for itself,’” Lorraine said. “That’s kind of what I’ve applied not only to my acting work, but also to my day job.”

“I knew the mansion wasn’t meant for children, but I didn’t ask any questions,” she wrote.
Lorraine added: “I never went to summer camp. I never had an extracurricular activity,” she recalls. “From the time I was born, in 1990, until I was about 11 years old, I went to the Playboy Mansion, because that’s where my friends were.”

Meanwhile, Jack opened up about his fatherhood experience in a 2010 interview with AARP Magazinesharing how close he is to Lorraine and Ray.
“We always got along,” he told the outlet. “I want to be an inspiration or have some sort of good influence on them without overburdening them. This is the time of their lives to discover who they are.
Jack fathered six children. In addition to Lorraine and Ray, Jack welcomed Jennifer Nicholson in 1963 with his ex-wife Sandra Chevalier. Jack’s Five easy pieces costar Susan Anspach gave birth to her first son, Caleb Goddardin 1970.
Girl Honey Holman arrived in 1981, whose mother is a model Winnie Hollman. Jennine Gourin gave birth to Jack’s youngest daughter, Tessa Gourinin 1994.
