In November 2024, at the end of her third pregnancy, social media influencer and owner of Divi Daniel Austin left social media indefinitely.
Before her Instagram hiatus, Austin told her 2.3 million followers that she needed to take her “first ever” break from social media — and she stayed off the platform for two months.
On Monday, January 13, Austin returned to Instagram with a video showing her 39 weeks pregnant, believing she was in labor.
At the start of the video, she joked about the break, saying she would discuss where she was in due time.
The video continues, showing Austin jumping on his two oldest children’s trampoline, doing a puzzle, asking his kids if they were hoping for a sibling, and taking hot sauce shots.
Austin and her husband, Jordan Ramirezhad made the decision to wait until birth to find out the sex of their child.
A day later, Austin shared another video, this time on the way to the hospital.
In the video, she and Jordan joked about an argument they had the day before in which Austin didn’t invite her into the delivery room. “She literally said I wasn’t invited to the delivery room,” he said.
The third video was released on Wednesday, January 15, showing Austin in her delivery room. By the end of the video, Austin was a mother of three.
A day later, they revealed they had welcomed an 8 pound, 1 ounce baby boy.
“We need to find names for the babies. Honestly, I only thought it would be a girl, so I only have girl names,” Austin joked in the video.
Alongside their son’s first photos, she revealed the name they officially settled on, writing, “Meet Summit West Ramirez.”
“Mothering you is mothering me,” she continued. “By mothering you, God is healing me in ways I never thought possible. »
