Christine Haack sharply criticized a recent statement issued by a representative of Josh Hall.
Haack, 41, who split from Hall, 44, in July 2024, released her thoughts on the statement — recently obtained from a rep for Hall and published by Us every week — via her Instagram Stories on Tuesday, January 14.
The statement, made in response to an interview Haack conducted for the January 9 episode of Radio Andy’s Jeff Lewis live which mentioned the couple’s ongoing divorce, it read: “It’s sad that Christina has to resort to low blows about her ex Josh to promote her new show.” She should focus on her new boyfriend and stop talking about Josh. Like the big one Mariah Carey once sang: “Why are you so obsessed with me?” We wish Christina the best.
Haack’s Instagram story regarding the statement read: “I just threw up in my mouth. Quoting a Mariah Carey song is a new low blow… even for you. Trust me about Josh’s life. I do care about his BTS tactics though. Narcissism at its best.
The post went live a day after Hall went Instagram official with his new girlfriend, Stephanie Gabrys. (Hall and Haack, meanwhile, continue to finalize their divorce after two years of marriage.)
Haack took to the social media platform to reflect on her state of mind as her divorce proceedings continue. She posted a story on Monday, January 13, detailing how she was focusing on “reducing energy.” The HGTV star added peace sign emojis, in addition to a wolf and a moon, which apparently referenced the full Wolf Moon in the sky that night.
Earlier today, Hall posted his own Instagram Story that featured a photo of him and Gabrys cuddling near a fire pit with mountains looming in the background. “Happy 35th birthday to this real life (angel),” Hall captioned the photo, adding an angel emoji and tagging Gabrys in the post.
Haack and Hall both filed for divorce in July last year. According to court documents obtained by We at the time, Haack – who had hired a divorce lawyer Laura Water – requested that neither party receive spousal support and wanted Hall to pay his attorney fees.
Hall, meanwhile, sought alimony from Haack and asked him to pay his attorney’s fees.
“(The court has not yet) ordered me to do it, but he is asking me (for money),” Haack, who is now reportedly in a relationship with a businessman. Christopher LaRoccaalleged in his Radio Andy interview. “I already had to give a little something, but then he bought a Bentley. I gave him money to live on and he bought a Bentley but he also doesn’t have a job so.
Haack was previously married to Tarek El Moussa from 2009 to 2018. They share 14-year-old Taylor and 9-year-old Brayden. Haack also shares Hudson, 5, with her ex-husband Ant Anstead.
