The View cast has a long conversation about Sara Haines’ ‘hot’ dad

Sarah Haines did not hold back The view when it came to talking about his father, Dick Hainesor its conventionally attractive appearance.

“My dad is sexy and I say that all the time,” Sara, 47, said on the Wednesday, January 22, talk show. Alyssa Farah Griffin replied, “Your dad is hot.”

Sara doubled down and added, “My dad is hot.” It simply is.

The conversation took place during the “Hot Topics” segment, when The view high hosts Jack SchlossbergX’s recent post in which he compared Usha VanceVice-president J.D. Vancethe wife of, to her grandmother, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

“True or false: Usha Vance is way hotter than Jackie O,” Schlossberg, 32, wrote. After receiving a lot of backlash online for the post, the political correspondent continued to troll the Internet.

“I’m literally a pervert. I called my grandmother hot… have I completely lost it? Jesus,” he wrote. “This kid will do anything for attention. Your grandfather would be ashamed. Seriously. It’s time to find a job.

Joy Béhar seemed to have a lot of thoughts on the subject.

“My grandmother’s name was Antonia, she was 60, I can’t say she was hot,” Behar, 82, said. “She never took off her apron, so how would I know how hot it is?”

Sara, on the other hand, didn’t think there was anything wrong with the social media post.

“Even when it comes to family, you have eyes,” she says.

Sunny hostin also chimed in, noting that she too had a hot dad.

“You have a hot dad,” Sara confirmed. (Hostin claimed that some of his friends “always wanted to hang out with” his father.)

Sara then took the conversation back to her own father.

“My friends, all my life I have talked about my stepfather,” she continued, noting that The view producer Brian Tetfound it weird. “I’m not blind. I’m not attracted to him, he’s just sexy. I can see it,” she continued.

She then went into detail, talking about a moment spent with a friend.

“We were walking to my yard and my dad was mowing the lawn and not wearing a shirt,” Sara recalled. “My friend Emily said to me, ‘Oh my God, who mows your lawn?’ And I said to myself: “That’s my father!” »

Haines’ father is well known among The view fans – Dick appeared on the “Behind the Table” podcast in October 2024 to talk about his daughter.

“I was considering a different career path (for Sara),” he admitted, noting that he and his wife Sandy Haines thought Sara would become an actress. “I laugh at some of (his jokes).”
