Paris Hilton remembers what’s important in life after losing her Malibu home in the Los Angeles wildfires.

Hilton, 43, took to Instagram on Sunday, January 19, to share a video of her son Phoenix, 2, snuggled up in a blanket alongside the family’s two dogs.

The clip, which zoomed in on the youngster’s face and captured his puppies Diamond and Baby lazing next to him, was accompanied by the text, “Take a moment to relax with Pheeny, Diamond and Baby asleep,” written across it.

The mother of two, who also shares daughter London, 1, with her husband, Carter Reumcaptioned the clip with a heartfelt message. “A few images of Pheeny and sleeping puppies for your feed 🧘🏼‍♀️🩷 Through everything that’s going on around us, sometimes we need a lovely reminder to take a moment of mindfulness for ourselves 🥹# SlivingMom,” Hilton wrote. This post comes after Hilton confirmed via the social media platform on January 9 that she saw her “Malibu house burn to the ground on live television.” Detailing the experience at the time, she wrote: “It was in this house that we built so many precious memories. This is where Phoenix took its first steps and where we dreamed of building a lifetime of memories with London.🥹.

A heartbroken Hilton has already put together a remarkable perspective, continuing: “While the loss is overwhelming, I remain grateful that my family and animals are safe. My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories and their beloved pets. My sorrows for those who are still in danger or who are grieving greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable.

Hilton has maintained a positive outlook on the devastation of the Los Angeles wildfires, which affected a string of celebrities after erupting due to a windstorm on January 7, lending a helping hand to displaced animals despite her personal heartbreak.
