Kyle Richards‘SMS with PK Kemsley did not start his quarrel with Dorit Kemsleybut that doesn’t help women mend barriers.
The January 7 episode of RHOBA ended with the two women yelling at each other after it was revealed that Kyle texted PK after his split from Dorit. The fight boiled over at the start of the Tuesday, January 14, episode, with Kyle directing his texts to PK several times — but never directly to Dorit.
At one point during Tuesday’s episode, Kyle read Erika Jayne, Sutton Stracke And Garcelle Beauvais the exact text she sent to PK after her separation statement was made public.
“I know you have a lot of friends but I’m one too and I’m here if you need me. I have never repeated what you shared with me and I never will. (Which means you can always trust me),” the text reads. “I’ll keep sending memes and won’t forget the laughing emojis.”
The other woman weighed in during their respective confessionals.
“Wait a minute, it’s not just about memes and jokes. This is serious talk,” Sutton said.
“So they shared things about Dorit or their relationships or whatever that no one else knows,” Garcelle added. “All the while, Kyle is really defending that these are just memes. Not everything is true.
Garcelle ultimately paraphrased Kyle’s text to the newcomer Bozeman St. John and the preview for next week’s episode showed Bozeman asking Kyle to “please” read the text she sent to PK.
“And that’s all I said.” Now I’m done. I’m not going to feel like I did anything wrong,” Kyle said tearfully in the clip, before speaking directly to Dorit. “I loved you and your family. F— everyone, I’m done with this shit. I don’t do that anymore.
Kyle already said Us every week exclusively in November 2024 on the release of RHOBA set – which was teased in the season 14 trailer.
“This scene in particular, the departure. I just don’t feel like myself and I don’t feel like I’m strong enough,” she shared. “Honestly, to film the show at this time- there, I really needed the woman to be there for me and support me and obviously, I didn’t feel that way at all, so it only amplified my situation.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter posted on Tuesday, Kyle further explained his regrets about the moment.
“I regretted the way I handled the situation, but I didn’t leave. I just didn’t have it in me anymore. I was at a point where I was so depressed, honestly. I’m not a depressed person,” Kyle explained. “I’ve suffered from anxiety my whole life, but never depression, and I really felt like I was struggling with depression and I expressed it. And I just felt like I couldn’t throw myself into storylines all the time and have everyone come at me.
